Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer in-person sessions?
No — Wholeness Living Psychotherapy is a fully telehealth practice. All sessions are held securely online, which lets me work with adults across every Hawaiian island.
What islands do you serve?
All of them. Because the practice is telehealth, I work with clients on Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, and Hawaiʻi Island.
How much does a session cost?
Individual telehealth sessions are $150 for 50 minutes. Your initial consultation is complimentary, so we can make sure we’re a good fit before you commit to anything.
Do you take insurance?
Not yet. I’m completing the credentialing process and plan to accept insurance in the future. For now, sessions are private pay, and I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
How do I schedule a session?
Start by sending a request through the contact form. I’ll follow up personally to arrange your complimentary consultation, and from there we’ll set up a schedule that works for you.
What kinds of issues do you work with?
Anxiety, grief, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and emotional overwhelm — often several of these together. My approach is depth-oriented, meaning we look beneath the symptoms at the patterns underneath.
What is “depth-oriented” therapy?
It means we don’t stop at managing symptoms. We explore the deeper patterns connected to identity, relationships, grief, purpose, and meaning — so change feels real and lasting rather than temporary.
Is telehealth therapy as effective as in-person?
For most adults, yes. Research consistently shows telehealth therapy is comparably effective for many concerns, and many people find that meeting from their own space helps them open up more comfortably.
