Insurance and Payment Information

I want the financial side of therapy to be as transparent and stress-free as possible. Here’s how payment works at Wholeness Living Psychotherapy.

Private pay practice

Wholeness Living Psychotherapy currently operates as a private-pay practice. Sessions are $150 for a 50-minute session, paid directly, which keeps your care confidential and free from the limitations that insurance authorizations can place on the depth and length of treatment. Initial consultations are complimentary.

Insurance — what to know

I’m in the process of becoming credentialed with insurers and anticipate accepting insurance in the future. Until then, all sessions are private pay.
If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. In that case I can provide a superbill — an itemized statement you submit to your insurance company directly. Reimbursement amounts and eligibility vary by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurer to ask about out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage before your first session.

Payment methods

Payment is collected securely at the time of service. I’ll help you set this up during onboarding so there are no surprises.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs for your care. I’m glad to provide one in writing before we begin.
